The West Michigan Sustainable Purchasing Consortium (WMSPC) is committed to developing and providing access to professional procurement contracts that support sustainable purchasing in the West Michigan community. Key goals of the WMSPC, particularly for the lower Grand River watershed area, include improving regional environmental quality and stewardship, growing local economies, and increasing social responsibility.
Green Cleaning Products Now Available to WPSPC Members
WMSPC is joining forces with its sister purchasing consortium in Chicago, Buying Better, to offer discounted pricing on over 80 fully-vetted green cleaning and Jan/San products. These products will complement any sustainability plan and will help earn LEED points for those seeking certification through LEED-EBOM or recertification after LEED-NC. Products include Green Seal and EcoLogo certified green cleaners, floor cleaners, hand sanitizers and odor eliminators; recycled content paper products, recycling bins and mop buckets; recycled content or compostable trash can liners; reusable microfiber cloths and more.
